But he does need to work on his ground game but his defense has gotten better ever since that first chael sonnen fight, and we noticed that in the rematch. and by the way I love your blog, and your gifs !The clinch is fabulous. I love it. Takedown defense…I dunno if it’s ‘great’, but ‘good’ enough for him to succeed. His ground game can be considered good but is defense was good before the Sonnen fight, in my opinion.

In this most recent Sonnen fight, I think he let Chael have the first round as either a “give” or just to mess with his head. I think his takedown defense is great, otherwise.
